I eat a wrap every day with a TON of lettuce. I don't measure it out or anything but just grab a lot of it. I buy the actual head of lettuce, romaine.

I also try to eat salads every dinner.

I track everything I put in the wrap and salad but never track the actual lettuce.

Do you think this is a bad thing??

please let me know!!

  • A cup of mixed salad greens is something like 8 calories. I wouldn't worry too much about your wrap lettuce!

I eat a huge salad every day for lunch. While I track everything I put on it...I never track the lettuce.

The lettuce is basically water. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
  • As the previous posters have said, it's got next to nothing for calories, but if you want to count it, see how many meals a head lasts for and divide the number of calories in a head of lettuces by that.

Calories in a head of lettuces aprox. = 80 (source listed)

  • Also wanted to share spinach is a great substitute for a salad or on a wrap. It actually has better nutrtional value than lettuce. I wouldn't worry about calories too much though. Both are extremely low :)
