Does anyone know why this HRM always tells me I've burned a lot more calories than I really did? this used to be the only one I had but when it broke I bought the new style one and I was getting less calories burned. I then bought another F11 on ebay and again it's telling me more calories burned than the newer polare HRMs. I have even worn them both for a workout and the F11 is significantly higher. Now that I have a fit bit I am pretty confident the newer version is the correct calories burned. The F11 I did all the user settings and everything so I don't know why it gives such a higer calorie burn. Anyone have any idea?

  • Does it have a chest strap or is it just the watch? I have one with the chest strap and it is 100 times more accurate than the watch alone.

I've never even heard of Polar F11...is it a really old model?

Why not get a recent model LIke the FT4, FT7, FT40 or FT70?
