Warfarin

I'm on warfarin and doc says to stay away from green veggies, any suggestions.
I'm looking for suggestions on what to put in my magic bullet.

    Ask your doctor for a list of safe and unsafe vegetables. "Green" is an awfully general statement.

    I feel your Pain I am also on warfarin, and it is hard to maintain a diet to lose weight when you are limited on the green vegetables that are not fattning.

    I was just interested in what others eat and how do they prepare it.

    My hubby is on warfarin andhe avoids too much broccolli or spinach. He didn't get a list or anything though so he just eats what he did before the op.

    You may also want to check with your pharmacist. They often have more detailed knowledge of the potential interactions.

    I am also on Warfarin, and was specifically told anything green. At first, I thought it was just dark green, but surprise, surprise iceburg lettuce is ridiculously high in Vit K.

    I eat a lot of fruits and try to find other vegetables to munch on. I am only going to be on it for a year though, so I am just trying to deal until then.
