I've been the same weight since 9/17. I flucuated down 1.5 pounds and up as far as 1.5 pounds. Woke up this am and up 1 pound from this weight. I've been exercising daily and watching what I eat. Most days I eat between 1500-1600 cals plus exercise. Some times 1300 and very rarely 2000 on the weekends. I'm still always net under the amount of cals I need to eat to maintain even on the bad days. I only have about 15 pounds to lose. I'm starting to get really frustrated because I used to eat probably 500 cals more on average before this diet and I wasn't much more than I am now. Any suggestions? I'm not getting ready to start my period for a couple weeks so I know it's not PMS.

What kind of exercise are you doing? Is it a lot more intense than before? I find that when my workouts are particylarly harsh my muscles retain water.

I had a couple bad days last week too no where near 8,000 extra calories and have been up 2 pounds for about 5 days I'm finally back down to last weeks weight adn owuldn't you know today my legs are much less sore.
  • I am the same way. I'm at a plateau right now. Not sure what the problem is.I lose 5 pounds then go up again. Lose 2 pounds go up again.

I did start the C25K last week but I've always been pretty active. Definately exercising more than before....My body is weird though. I drink one beer and I retain 2 pounds for a couple days.

Hmmm well maybe open your diary to see if the experts have any other suggestions.

What's your current height and weight? Did you calculate your BMR and TDEE where do your calorie goals fit into that? Maybe you just need to twaek your calories a little.
