I have been trying to get pregnant and failing. My husband says he is done, that it is too much pressure. Now I am just ready to sit and be depressed.

trying to get pregnant can be sooo stressful
when you WANT sex, you're much more likely to get preggers x
there is a great lube called yesyesyes lube that you insert before sex which is really really good at getting the little buggers to the right spot, why dont you try it?
And stop 'trying' to get pregnant, just try and have lots of sex, when you feel like it and he does - it will happen x0 -
This trick was given to me by a nurse practitioner who worked at a fertility clinic.
1. Buy a pack of ovulation predictor sticks. They're expensive, maybe $30/box. Get the ones with the smiley face. The others with lines are hard to read, and you don't want to misread these.
2. At Day 10 of your cycle, at 4pm or as close to it as you can, pee on a stick. Your LH levels are highest at this time of the day.
3. Repeat step 2 daily, always at 4pm, until you get the smiley face. Smile... you've just begun to ovulate.
4. That night and the next night, have sex (preferably with your husband). He doesn't have to know why, which will stress him out. Just enjoy.
5. In 3 weeks, check yourself with a pregnancy stick.
I had been trying for several years without success, got tested and nothing was wrong. I think I just always missed my ovulation window. When I did the above steps, I got pregnant immediately. And, did the same thing for my second pregnancy.
Warning: This may or may not be true, but this method is more likely to get you boys. The thinking is that since you're having sex at the very beginning of your ovulation window, and "male" sperm supposedly swim faster than "female" sperm, those boys get to the egg first. Yes. I have 2 boys.0 -
Oh, and I want to add one more thing. For pregnancy number two, I was a drug rep at the time, and I was at an OB/GYN office that was a customer. I was telling the nurses there that I had just done this trick, but that it was too early to take a pregnancy test yet, and I still had 4 more days to wait.
They peer pressured me into taking a pregnancy test right there on the spot. And... the faintest of lines, almost too faint to see, showed through. I didn't believe I was really pregnant, but all the nurses looked at the test and assured me I was. This was about 1.5 weeks after ovulation. I was shocked. And thrilled, of course.0
