Emails about being over weight?

And like I said... is she going to call out everyone that "bullies" her... I'm sorry but as a new anchor (even in a small media market) you are going to get some bad emails and comments... My meteorologist friend has comments on her threads about her being the "stupidest weather person they have ever seen" never mind the fact that she has a meteorology degree... she gets negative comments all the time... and that's just on her facebook page. I don't even know (nor do I want to) what is emailed to her... You work in a position like the local news and you are going to get harsh criticism... sorry folks, that's the business... and if her husband is an anchor as well, then he should know it too instead of seemingly pushing her to say something on air... Does that make the people that send these harsh criticisms right? Not even in the slightest, but they are going to happen and it's the nature of the beast unfortunately.0

I think that the speach was very nice and educational. She not only addressed bullying but she addressed that children learn from what they see. Being overweight may not be healthy but we all know that weight is a struggle!! There are many small people who are very unhealthy. I have a friend who is bulimic and very sick having heart issues now. She is in denial and cant see it. Yet the news reporter acknowledge that she was over weight as she stated we all can see. Just because someone is big or small, Dark or light, has a degree or not doesnt give us the reason to judge and pick. We can voice opinion yes but we should not down others. Thats the problem society thinks we should all be perfect when truth is no one will ever be. There is going to always be something wrong or not right. In other words I think she is living with her issue well by helping others who are just like her and trying to stop the chain of bringing others into this world to face such negativity in a much better way than to down others becasue you have issues with self0

Here is the link to the response to that email. http://www.buzzfeed.com/jtes/news-anchor-responds-to-viewer-who-called-her-obes
What the viewer said was disgusting. They were basically bullying her because she is over weight. Its disgusting that someone would go out of their way to tell someone who they know nothing about that they are fat and that they shouldn't be that way. The viewer even had the audacity to state that being obese was the WORST choice someone can make. Really?! Im pretty sure doing Black tar heroin is a worst choice than being obese.
The viewer is a F'N douche bag. Anyone that thinks that someone should be skinny to set a better example because they are in the public eye is also a douche bag. Look at all the people who do unspeakable unhealthy things to be "skinny for the public eye". How about we stop being Douche bags to other people because we are insecure with ourselves and have to belittle someone to make ourselves feel better. There's a good choice to make in life!!
