Hamstring issue

Tuesday last week I started a new training program that had stiff leg deadlifts. I did really well and felt the DOMS the next day. It is now over a week later and while it isn't DOMS, my hamstrings are now TIGHT. Like I used to be able to touch my toes, put my nose to my knees and hug my legs to stretch them. Now I can barely just hang down before they are in pain. Has anyone else ever had this happen? Basically it is like my flexibility was cut in half!
