Feeling weak?

So, I just started a couple of days ago - yesterday was my first day that I really stuck to the program and was very close to all of my nutrition goals at the end of the day. I should also add that, with 20 pounds to lose (enough to be significant but not a huge amount of weight) I have adjusted my percentages to include 40% protein, 40% fat, and 20% carbs. I am a Jazzercise instructor, but the weight has been creeping on as I approach 40, so I am in really good shape under this "layer" of fat. I want to get it off and show the fruits of my labor - I want to look cut!
Anyway, I have not taught a class since Saturday morning, and I went in to teach this morning and found myself feeling weak through my whole workout! My legs were like spaghetti, I had to decrease my free weights during strength training, and at the end of class I was dizzy and lightheaded.
My Q: Has anyone else experienced this at the beginning? Do you think that this might be a result of the dramatic decrease in calories and carbs? Will it get better as my body adjusts to my new diet? Thanks for any insight!
