I am a college student and live in a sorority house so cooking isnt really on my schedule. I try to buy healthy groceries but I just want to double check if these are good choices or not.

- hummus
- veggies (carrots, cucumber, tomatoes..)
- fruit ( Apples, oranges, bananas)
- Lean Cuisines
- Skinny Cow Icecream sandwiches
- Organic salad mix
- Homemade dressing from sour cream
- String cheese
- Weight Watchers Yogurt
- Alternative Bagels w/ low fat cream cheese
- Chicken Deli Slices
- Sara lee 45 cal. bread

  • They look excellent! Hummus and fruit/veggies are great. And your other options look tasty and healthy. I wish my college daughter would eat like that next year when she goes!

the only thing I would watch is your sodium intake. the sodium in packaged food is crazy. I know there is a lot in the hummus I buy and a TON in my deli meats. Lean cusine is high too. Watch that so your not holding on to a bunch of water weight. :) Good choices though. :)

Honestly, sodium is an easy fix. Try to keep your water intake at 10 glasses a day and you'll be fine
