Marinade

So how do you handle counting the calories in a marinade? Sure the food is soaking in it but very little is actually on the food when you pull it out of the marinade and cook it. Do you just estimate how much is clinging to the food?

I don't log it at all, the marinade actually barely penetrates the protein, so really not worth it unless you want to be overly anal about your calorie tracking

Or unless you're using extra marinade to baste with or as a dipping sauce.

Besides a bit of oil (if you use any), what else is in your marinade that could possibly add a significant amount of calories?
