It is so hard staying motivated to work out

Some days I feel like my body is protesting all the workouts. I work out 3-4 times a week. I do 2 miles(30 mins) then i do either an aerobics class of some type for an hour. First it was my arm, I ended up with tennis elbow if I lifted anything too heavy, or did too much with my right arm. When it flares I can do nothing but ice my arm for about a week and can hardley do anything with that arm. Now after i finally worked out running 1 of those 2 miles my knee started acting out. to the point I took 2 weeks off doing nothing but icing it. This week I have finally been able to ease back into my routine (completely walking the 2 miles no running then building up to running) and even with taking it easy I have had to ice my knee every night.
For those of you that have been doing this for awhile, will it get easier? or am i just going to have to invest in ice packs? Please tell me it will get easier, I am trying so hard to not get discouraged. I ordered a new pair of tennis shoes this week. I hope it will help with shock absorbing when I run. I have had the same shoes since Feb(7 months) so I am trying everything I can think of to keep at it and not give up. I just have days where I feel the more I workout the more I am falling apart. Thanks for reading my rant about my body.

I have knee pain sometimes so i have taken up water arobics ( also called aqua movers ) twice a week, its fantastic for the whole body low impact on all joints as the water takes your weight but its still a great workout . Good luck0
