Hello!!! I'm Diana, a 30 year old mom of 2 from Ohio. My son is 10 years old and my daughter is 6 years old. I'm divorced from their father but am in a long-term, live-in relationship with my boyfriend Cory.
I've started the weight loss journey several times but fallen off the wagon shortly after. I've struggled with several different challenges. First is my Dr. Pepper addiction. About 98% of my fluid intake is Dr. Pepper. It's been like this for years, so long I can't remember when I started drinking DP. A lot of people think I am exaggerating when I say it's an addiction but I truly believe that it is. I quit drinking it for about a month when I ended up in the ER with a bleeding ulcer but then I was right back to it. If I run out I have to run to the grocery immediately because there has to be some in the fridge at all times. Anyone who knows me will attest to the fact that I rarely drink anything else. So to quit drinking it is going to be one of my big hurdles.
My other challenge, which I am sure is all too familiar for some of you, is how busy my family is. I am a full time college student and my boyfriend works full time. My son plays soccer and is in karate and my daughter is in dance and girl scouts. Some days I am gone from 8am-8pm. Between school and getting the kids where they need to go, it's hard to cook and sit down as a family to eat dinner. I'm looking forward to learning new strategies ways to keep not only mine, but my family's eating habits healthy.
I'd love new friends so feel free to add me! I know that support is going to play a huge part in me being successful with my weight loss!

I prep on Sundays for the rest of the week. This keeps me on track and even gives me more time during the week. I usually only eat dinner as I fast during the day .. but here is what I do.. hope this helps.
Routine:
Sunday:
-Shop for
----Veggies (onions, Broc crowns, frozen peas and carrots)
----Proteins: Chicken and beef for stir fry and Steak NY Strip
----Rice if needed
----Yakisoba noodles
----Canned Tuna
----Eggs
----Bread (Whole Wheat)
----Nuts for snacks
- Prep
----Cut up all veggies into separate containers or zip lock bags
---- Cut up chicken and beef again separate containers
---- Hard Boil Half the eggs for snacks
Mon: Chicken stir fry with Rice
Tues: Tuna fish sandwiches with Nuts .. or pop chips.
Wed: Beef Stir Fry with noodles
Thurs: NY Steak and eggs
Friday: Eat out somewhere
As for you DR pepper addiction.. I would suggest a drastic removal of all soda from the house .. and never order one from now on. However that worked for my soda addiction and I am not sure if cold turkey will work for you. but I wish you the best.0
