What kind of exercise can I do?

I had a hammertoe correction surgery last Wednesday and mistakenly thought I could get back to exercise within 3 weeks. I was told today by the doctor that I have to take 6 weeks off. I'm so frustrated. He said I can't walk or ride my bike for 6 weeks. Is there anything I can do? I can't imagine living on 1200 calories per day for 6 more weeks. I used my exercise calories to give me room to satisfy my hunger. Any ideas?

Sit and be fit  or a version of it anyway. If you use a gym they have a cardio machine at mine that it a reverse bicycle basically, come to find out it is generally for injured or handicapped people, you sit in it and use your hands to rotate the peddles basically. Otherwise you can do a lot of weights while sitting that dont put pressure on your feet. Can you swim?0
