Am I intermittent fasting correctly?

I sent a message to my fav MFP expert but I was hoping anyone else interested would take a look at my diary and let me know if that looks good for an IF schedule. I wake at 7. I run or lift 5 days a week at 1pm. Random sports on the weekends. Waiting an hour after exercise to break the fast at about 3pm. Starting the fast at 8pm.

A few questions:

1) I'm waiting an hour or more after my workout to break the fast, and I'm wondering if that will add an extra burn to my fast or if I should be eating right after my workout.
2) I've read eating a very small portion of vegetables and whey during the fast wont hinder the fast but may actually have beneficial effects to it. 1 single serving of vegetables and less than 20 grams of protein a couple hours after I wake up is what I'm thinkin.
3) I'm going for maximum fat burn using a decent deficit. Is leangains the same thing as this but a surplus intake instead?

Cancel out question 1). My source tells me that eating breakfast immediately is the best option since your muscles are primed for nutrients. I'm assuming this has something to do with the body adjusting blood flow during/after strenuous activity.

So really it comes down to question 2. Should I avoid the single serving of vegetables and ~15 grams of whey? Or will it benefit?
