give your hip a break and do something upper body related0

If you ran today, you should take tomorrow off. My coach/mentors always say you should rest a day in between runs to let the muscles heal and get stronger. If it continues to hurt, I suggest you find a chiropractic physician near you. I did when I had knee (and ankle and IT band and now plantar fasciitis) problems. Mine works miracles and gets me back on the road!0

If it doesn't hurt to walk do that. Or try a bike. Or do upper body exercise and stretch. Good luck0

Thanks all...yeah I just took a walk0

Do something low impact but also stretch. I had an issue with my psoas muscle and sciatic nerve. Sore hip, lower back pain, The only thing that has helped me is I had physical therapy where the PT taught me to stretch. I now do the strecthing exercises twice a day and haven't had a recurrence of any pain.0

try to figure out what is causing the hip pain and fix it.............
