firstly, in the friendliest possible way, i know weighing yourself every day doesn't give you a realistic view of how you're doing, so please don't start on that. That's not what i'm on about.

i've still got a few kilos to go, but i love weighing myself and watching the numbers go down, down, down, up, down.. even if it's just the tiniest increments, it really motivates me to keep working.

the last few days though, the scale has been teasing me. i get a special little thrill when i drop down from one kilo to the next (like, instead of being 76.1, drop into the 75.somethings), so imagine my frustration when this morning, for the third morning running, my scale has reported that i'm 72.0.

i'm like 'scale, quit holding out on me! surely today i've dropped into the 71s!'
and my scale's like 'nuh uh! guess again Susie! better luck next time'

tomorrow, dammit! tomorrow will be my day!

I can totally relate--I do the same thing. Unfortunately, what got me over the 150# threshold was a case of food poisoning. I do not recommend.

I can identify! I only record my weight once a week, but step on the scales a bit more often. I recently had my weigh-in weight 1 1/2lb higher than the days either side! Not a big stress, just a wry smile... Next week I'll get there - hopefully
