What plan do you follow?

Hi everyone! Been doing pretty good on just loggin my food and exercise on MFP. I'm looking at some ideas of a new 'diet' plan to follow, that would be family friendly and not so restrictive. Any thoughts? I've done low carb in the past with great success, but wondering what others do?

I count my calories on MFP. Diet plans are stupid.

I follow the whole foods, plant based'diet', but I don't really consider it a diet, because this is how I intend to eat forever.

My current approach isn't a "plan." I try to build my meals around vegetables. That way I'm eating more veggies and less meat and other junk.

I dont consider what i am doing a diet. I try to eat healthy with veggies, fruit, protrein and good carbs.
I dont stress anymore if a month goes by that i dont lose weight, i know that eventually it will come off.

Very smart! I never considered that since I tend to plan around the main entree, but this makes a lot of sense in making the "side dishes" the stars. :) Thanks!
  • Thanks everyone, I'm pretty much like the majority - don't really 'diet' anymore. Been logging my foods here on MFP. Earlier this year we took on a 'clean eating' plan, where we ate more whole foods, some organic, but mostly doing away w/ processed foods. Felt great when doing that, not so much weight loss, but felt better. Planning on going back to that plan.
