"Smoked" Cornbeef. Delicious!

I'm having a girls night tonight and thought Brisket would be great!

Put Black Pepper, Mrs. Dash, Adobo, garlic powder and dry mustard, and carroway seed in a large ziplock bag... Completely coat the brisket, put overnight in a crock pot with just a little beef stock in the bottom.

And here's the secret Ingredient... Soak hickory chips just like you would on the grill, put them in foil with just the top oven like when you open a baked potato. And put your hickory packet right in the crock pot!

It really does give it a smokey flavor!!! I mean sure it doesn't taste the same as if you were to put it in a legitimate smoker... but a pretty darn tasty alternative to those of us without a smoker
