For the past month I have gone to the gym 6 days a week using the treadmill for an hour, some weights, and zumba once a week. I got a little tired of running so I have been switching it up between the elliptical, bike, and the treadmill and i have been doing more weight training, I've also been doing some yoga classes.

Im just curious as to what kind of exercises other people do and how often!

That sounds amazing! I go about 3-6 times a week, I'm still trying to get my rountine down. I did the whole roller coaster thing, elliptical 30 minutes, a little weight training to go with it, rotating body parts daily... and I used to LOVE yoga! Now that I've been waking up feeling stiff, I'm going to try to make time for it again. Good job, keep it up.

I do every day except Friday because that's my "I don't care day". I might swap that with a Saturday depending on what time of the month it is.
  • Yup, seven days a week. Currently bulking.

3 days weight lifting - 1 day cardio

6 days a week, run two miles each day, then switch between krav maga, pole dancing, weights, spin bike, and punching bag. Whatever I'm in the mood for....

I had been going to the gym every other day with one day as a rest day. I just switched that up and am now doing StrongLifts 5x5 on Tues., Thurs., and Sat., and running on the treadmill Wed., Fri., and Sun., with Monday as my rest day.

I do 30 minutes on my stationery bike every morning. I also walk at least 30 minutes every day (sometimes 60 or 90 minutes). And I go the gym 2-3 times a week and use weight machines for 40-45 minutes. This, with calorie reduction, is working for me.

    Usually 6 days a week: Zumba 2x, Body Pump 2x & NROL 2x. Occasionally I'll go 7 days/week or double up on classes 1 night/week.

I workout 6 days and give myself one day to rest. I do Crossfit 3 days a week (which incorporates strength & cardio combined), weights 2 days and either running or biking the other day.
  • I am doing slow and easy.. 40 minutes light intensity on my stationary, a 2 mile Leslie Sansone walk, and if I'm feeling strong, I'll throw in some handweights a nd some abs..slow and steady, and every day I promised myself..if I don't, I'll stop.Good Luck on finding your groove.

I work out 6-7 days a week, I do Tapout XT from Mon-Sat and then on Sundays I will do circuit training or something to get my heart rate up and burn calories. I am addicted to working out, if I do not workout I cant relax, I feel on edge so I have to do it, its a staple in my life for sure.

At the moment I am doing some sort of exercise most days. Friday is my rest day and sometimes another day at the weekend but I find now if I don't do something I really miss it. I do 30DS, couch to 5k running or swimming at the moment. Switching it around with exercise really helps to keep the weight coming off.

If I don't do my daily walk or enough time to burn at least 250cal I will hop on my elliptical for 30min. I also do calisthenics about 5 days a week.

Depends. I travel a lot for my job so it is tough, but I try for 6 times a week. In the summer I have a few days of double training due to the nature of a sport I participate in. I try for at least one full recovery day, and give (at least) 24 hours of recovery before a major competition.

I'm still all over the map but trying to get into more of a routine. Part of the problem is I often rely on my friend to go running with, and sometimes she cancels. I need to start doing more on my own. Luckily my other friend is back in town and also runs so that should help.

I also just got a deal on 8 weeks of unlimited yoga so I'm going to try and do that 3-4 times a week (it's less than a block from my house!)

I also do free weights and body weight exercises like squats and crunches and pushups. I have a gym membership and need to start using it!

Six days a week, is my goal. I'm training for a 10 Mile run in December, so I'm running 3 days per week (about 12-15 miles per week), doing weight training 3 days per week. However, I just rejoined a boot camp class, so instead of the gym (which I HATE), I'll do boot camp 3 days per week.

I do tai chi on Sundays and play badminton on Mondays. Besides that I try to have at least two days when I exercise for a bit longer, go for a long walk or something. I leave a couple of days without any specific exercise. Of course I cycle to school everyday and walk to places. My school tends to be physically tiring too.

Nope. I have 2 rest days and maybe do some active recovery on one of them, but not often.

cardio (hiit) and weight training (heavy) 5-6 days a week
  • I started exercising last month, so I have started off slow. I do yoga everyday. I attend a Yogalates (Pi-Yo) and a Yoga class twice a week. The rest of the days of the week, I use a yoga for weight-loss video from Youtube.

I do circuit training every day. Mainly because I've found that on the rare occasion when I skip a day it takes me a few days to get back to my routine. I do really well with routines and predictable days. Constant change and variety, not so much.

Since I've got a dog, yes... I get some "real" exercise every day. I usually hit the gym between 5 & 8 hours per week, too. I try to make Sunday a completely off day (you know, except for the dog). This week went sideways on me, so I get two rest days since I'm buried at work.

I'd rather be at the gym!!!

Nope. If I could do more than slow biking or walking the day after lifting, I didn't lift enough lol.

I go between 5-6 days a week. I do two days that focus on strength and at least four of cardio. I alternate days for lengths. One day I do 30-45 min the next an hour, back and fourth. I've lost five pounds a week since I started.

    Pretty much.

I go to the gym 5 days a week and do 30 min. of cardio and an hour plus of weights. I walk the dog every day about 2.5 - 4 miles depending on the route that I take at a 4 - 4.5 MPH pace. I'm going to start integrating some workout videos on the weekend as well just to get something in.
