Feeling tired easily

Cutting simple carbs down to only breakfast(2 whole wheat bread) and quater small bowl of rice everyday, also cutting coffee to once every 2 days average instead of my normal diet makes me want to go to bed at 10pm. In the afternoon i feel a little spaced out, but the diet has proved to work by eating 1300 calories a day. I am eating a lot of vege but not enough fruits, what should i eat more to get a natural high without relying on sugar??
