Calorie Crave

Sometimes I feel like I need calories. I don't care where I get them from (whether it be sugary or fatty or salty) and tend to go on a binge. Just wondering if anyone else has this and what you do to cope with the calorie craves.

Thanks

  • I find that eating foods that are rich in fiber help eliminate the cravings. Foods like high fiber oatmeal, oranges, and apples. I also purchase high fiber wheat bread. I stay away from diet sodas and foods that are loaded with sugar substitues because I've read that your body can "think" its having the sugar calories and starts to crave them regularly. I also drink a lot of water. Cheers to you for signing up and good luck with your weight loss.

I keep cut up celery around. If I am really craving something, celery or apples with peanut butter. Good fiber. Good protein. If it's sweet than I keep low calorie snacks like Jello around. Or they have those 100 calorie snack packs - almost any brand has them now. I like the Mr Salty Chocolate Pretzels
