Cherry tomatoes and black olives make really cute lady birds. Base is made up of sliced baguettes, cream cheese, smoked salmon and flat leafed parsley. (To help alleviate so many questions I would just like to add that in the UK, South Africa and Australia they are called Lady Birds - in the USA they are called Lady Bugs.)
The Black spots are chopped olives, the eye's are cream cheese applied with the end of a tooth pick and the antennas are the stem of the parsley. But remember be creative and make them your own, Just have fun and enjoy!

No I found it on FB but I want to try them. I am not a big salmon fan so I might substitute another deli meat like turkey or ham.0 -
MMM ... maybe pepperoni slices and use garlic butter or even a seasoned ricotta spread instead of the cream cheese. The Yum!!0
