Working out in the morning?

I was thinking of starting jump rope / running in the morning before I go to shower and get ready at school. I was thinking maybe it was a good idea because I can wake myself up with the shower, and I don't get to exercise much at school.

Also, what do you think about eating? If I am to exercise in the morning, should I just wait till I get hungry sometime later in the morning?

What do you think? Is it worth it?

~ I promise this will be my last post, I just have so many questions.

Jumping rope (or any activity) will help put you in a calorie deficit. (doesn't matter when you do it) I would say that it can be hard on the knees for heavier people so possibly a lower impact exercise may be better to start with. Brisk walk or something. You won't burn as many cals per minute of exercise though.

    Eat whenever you want.

What Chris said. Do low impact to spare your knees and back for now. Then eat whenever you're hungry. As long as you hit your macro goals, meal timing is very negligible in terms of improving results.

I did something similar myself. I could jump for 10-20 minutes right when I woke up. Convenient and effective. I was 270+ lbs when I started.

    Eat when you want.

Ask as many questions as you need. That's what we're for.

I like doing a work out first thing in the morning, gets it out the way and I'm in a super better mood with more energy all day. I agree to avoid jumping rope just yet, you gotta build up your muscles first to avoid injury ( i made the stupid mistake of not doing that) a walk would be good, or if its too cold I was doing JM 30 day shred (which is for free on youtube) and I found that a really good beginner work out
