Scale or no scale???

So I've never even imagined trying to lose weight without checking out my success on the scale. Recently I've become very frustrated with the whole weight loss thing and wonder if I should stop with the obsessive number watching. Anyone who made this brave switch wanna enlighten me?

I watched the scale like a hawk during September and didn't lose a single POUND. I did, however, lose 7 inches from all over, so I am super glad I took my measurements or I would be going crazy. I decided October would be a no-weigh month for me, so I put my scale away. I am dying to weigh myself and it's only the 4th! I know I won't see what I'm looking for, so I'm really not that tempted. Feel free to add me as a friend and we can keep each other off the scale since it's only making us crazy (or crazier!).

If it's really stressing you out, I'd suggest putting it away, or at least only weighing once a week.

Personally, I won't put the scale away. It seems like every time I do, I gain weight because I don't have that daily reminder to stay on track. You just need to remember that if you're really working your butt off, and you don't see any progress on the scale, all the progress is more than likely in your measurements.
