Hello, I'm new!

Hello, I'm somewhat new to MFP, I joined a couple of months ago, to help me calorie count. I'm not overweight or anything, but I'm not fit either. I had some health issues arise in the summer of 2008 and haven't done any real exercise since. To add to that, I had to start taking prednisone, which made me gain weight. Anyways, my goal is to participate in a local half-marathon in September. I'm not a runner, so I'm starting from scratch. I've singed up for this half-marathon with a friend, but she's much more fit than I, so I'm really going to have to work hard make this work. Any tips or suggestions for my training would be greatly appreciated :)

Right now I'm using a Learn the Run program to get me started.
