INSANITY WORKOUT! Anybody got result???

I didn't get far with insanity. To be frank, i didn't get past the first fit test :) lol this is because i got lazy... fast !!! But I am starting back on it today!! I would like to know if anyone else is doing the insanity challenge??? If you have been doing it for a while, have you got any results???? That would be some good motivation for me!!!

  • I started insanity 2 weeks ago. In a 40 min workout I can keep up with about 30 min of it before my heart rate is beyond safe limits. I have to stop and rest for about 30 seconds every 3 or 4 minutes. I can't tell that it's helped much so far but this is a 2 month course. i've curbed my eating habits, most days it's a salad for lunch and dinner with min protein. Also, after I do insanity i go to the gym at my apt complex and do 10 - 12 min of weight lifting because insanity only partially hits the upper body, IMHO that is....so far. Exercise can be a difficult thing to persuade yourself to do.

    Hi there! I've been doing Insanity for about 3 weeks now and I can see an improvement in my fitness level and my measurements.

    I have increased the reps of EVERY exercise on the fit test (from Day 1 to Day 15) and I have lost about an inch in my waist and an inch in my thighs. In my opinion, that is great motivation. I don't have much weight to lose, so for me to lose an inch in my waist is huge...especially in only 3 weeks!!! Can't wait to see what the next 5 weeks hold :smile:

    I have done insanity 3 times now. I am currently doing Chalean Extreme and insanity together. I love it and had great results. I know I would have had better results if I had done better with my food. I lost a little weight but lost a lot of inches. When I started I really needed to tone up and it really helped with that.
  • My nephew started it 6 weeks before his wedding. In 5 weeks he lost 25 lbs and 3 pant sizes. And that is about all he needs to lose, he looks great. He said he hated it everyday..........but he said it really works, you just have to stick to it.
