Can I change my "apple" shape, lol?

I always have the most fat in my abdomen, chest, and arms/shoulders. I don't have extremely wide hips. My legs aren't too bad.
I'm pretty sure I have an apple shape... Either that or rectangle.

Is there anyway to alter my shape? make it different... not sure if it's genetics. I am assuming I can't change it much..
But are there exercises and maybe a recomended diet to help apple shapes become less apple? Certain foods that would help..
Is there something I did to make myself an apple shape or did it all come down from genetics...? (Maybe high carb foods in the past gave me a more apple shape?)
I heard that girls with an apple shape probably have more testerone... is there anyway to change that... lower the levels. =/
Please no rude replies.

Have you contemplated weight training? Shedding fat, combined with lifting can make your appearance more proportioned, even though you can't change your bone structure. What you *can* do is burn fat and build muscles.0

I'm an apple shape too. I feel your pain
However, I remember people saying you can't target certain areas to lose weight, it just comes off where ever. So my belief is that if you lose enough weight that mid-section problem will go away along with the "apple" look of it.
I'll probably always have a big torso. but..meh.0
