Looking for suggestions on healthy granola bars. I love the taste of my curent brand..."Sunbelt Low Fat Oatmeal Raisin Chewy Granola Bars" , but would like to think i could find something a bit healthier. Here's the lowdown:
120 calories (20 calories from fat), 2 g total fat, and 12 g sugars. Thoughts?

I look for ones that are made with whole grains, low in sugar (below 8g) and high in protein. South Beach protein bars and Kashi bars are good.1

My favorite are Fiber One Chewy Bars. They have 9 g fiber. That little bar will keep you satisfied for 2 hours. Calories 150, Calories from fat 40, Sodium 110 mg, Total carbs 28 g, Sugars 9 g, Protein 3 g.And they taste delicious. Not exactly a health food, but they do have whole oats and they taste delicious.0

I always just try to get the ones with either the lowest sugar or highest protein. Kashi chewy trail mix bars, Quaker Ancient grains (hard to find), or Nature Valley Protein (SUPER sweet  ). I feel like I may as well just eat a candy bar because most granola bars are so freakin high in sugar anyway.0
