yoga video

Does anyone know of a good yoga video I could invest in? Or maybe something online?

I really enjoy yoga, and they have free classes at my university, but I work during the class time. :( I'd love to be able to do yoga at home without an instructor. I'm looking for something low key and relaxing that I could do at the end of the day to unwind.

Rodney Yee's "Yoga Burn" is my current fav. Poses are held for a while, the pace is very slow and the production/narration is good. Also, the practice is about an hour long.

Anything with Rodney Yee is my favorite (his pacing and voiceovers are the best, IMHO)

One caveat with Yoga DVDs, if they say "intermediate" or "advanced" they're not kidding.

Honestly, I use YouTube! yogatoday is where the upload comes from.

This one is 51 minutes long. I set my laptop up on the floor, and do my workout.
  • I'm looking for some good yoga videos as well. I just bought the Beginner's AM/PM DVD by Yogaworks and I love it! Since I'm new to the whole thing, I like how well they explain all of the moves. The beginner's class is 45 mins long, and the AM and PM segments are 10 min each just as a way to start and end the day.

Rodney Yee's are my favorite too. The AM/PM disc is rather relaxing. Try borrowing some from the library to see what you like. My favorite Yee is "Intermediate" - but I like strength/stamina/flexibility too.
  • Thanks so much for all your replies! I'll be looking into these. :)
