Using Body Bugg and MFP

The food log for the body bugg is terrible! Anyone used the body bugg track calories burned and MFP for logging food at the same time? If so, I'd like some suggestions on how to use these two together.

I don't use Body Bugg, but I do use a FitBit to track my steps, stairs climbed, miles, etc... I use MFP to enter my food (love the barcode scanner) and my exercise. I have the two online accts sync'd, so everything is accurate. Can you sync Body Bugg with MFP somehow? I would think that would give you an accurate daily summary of what you've done.

Not yet. I was thinking about a Body Bugg, until I found out that it won't sync with my phone, nor mfp. So, I e-mailed them in September. This was their reply:

"Good news!! BodyMedia's integration with MyFitness Pal is on the horizon and is expected to launch sometime in October. This is a long-awaited for and much-needed enhancement to our nutrition and calories consumed tracking!!"

So, once this comes about, I am seriously considering one.

I'm doing a little bit of research, and I think what I'm going to do is this: I'll track my food on MFP. I'll use the BodyBugg to track calories burned. Then I'll go in to MFP each morning & enter a generic activity like walking for the previous day. I'll adjust the time so that it returns the number of calories I need to log.

I'll figure out the number of calories I need to log on MFP by doing this:

(Total calories burned on BodyBugg) - (Normal daily activity on MFP goals page) = number of additional calories I need to log on MFP

So, for example, if my BodyBugg says I burned a total of 2550 calories yesterday, and the MFP "normal daily activity" calories (found on the goals page) is 2060, then I'll enter an activity on MFP for yesterday that gives me "credit" for 490 calories.

We'll see how long I keep up with it before I get tired of keeping track ...
