Im new here and have started to work out. Ive been doing Insanity for two days. WOW Its definitily the correct name?
My question is to fiqure out how many calories Im burning to log it in here? Any one else doing this workout I know there is alot of p90x going on. Thank You

I'm on Day 2 Also. The only way to get in the ballpark is to use a Heart Rate Monitor.0

Insanity is insane and I loved it and still do some on my cardio days of P90X! There is an Insanity group on here under the fitness category and you sure are welcome to join us! Some just started, some just finished and some are mixing max insanity with other programs they call hybrid's, we would love for you to come join us, just hop right in and tell us what you did for the day etc;. As for the calorie burn most of us have a heart rate monitor (polar F6 or F11) because they tell the truth of what you are burning! Or until you get one go under cardio and use the high intensity aerobics calculation! I burned close to 600 most days! I hope you love it like we do! I'll be looking for ya!0

I only burned about 285 calories doing the fit test yesterday. Today is our first real day of INSANITY so I'll let you know what I burn. I'm 149lbs and 5'7.0

I love Insanity! I completed 60 days of the workouts and they are incredible! I have a Polar F6 HRM that I use to track my cals.
You could use the circuit training tab under cardio here for a close estimate.

I saw a comercial about this about 2 weeks ago at 3 in the morning. Wow it looked hard. It said in the comercial that if you do it correctly you can lose up to 1000 calories in a workout. Definately looked like an insane workout indeed.0

Thanks for all the info... I guess I'll be looking into the monitor's to track calories and heart rate... I feel like I need a wheel chair right now, can't wait to see the results!0

These workouts are freaking hard!! I can't imagine doing 60 days of this. Sheeeesh! :frown:
I burned 340 in the first workout.
The only complaint I have is that it seems a little monotonous. Doing the same set over 3 times is a little much.0 -

I'm loving it. Day 2 down! We are all set for this evenings workout. I'm loving feeling good again and getting back on a routine since the holidays!
Been a little under the weather so didn't get that morning run in today, but the body needed the rest!0
