don't give up! I myself didn't have a ton to lose but was still over weight for my height last fall. I am 5ft 2 inches and i was 142 lbs bmi of 25. bmi should be 24.9 and under and weight max of 136. i didn't see the weight creeping on me the last 7 years or so and i thought i looked just fine and thought i looked the same as i did before even though i was buying size 11 jeans from my old 5's back in the day. I then realized last fall that i needed to get this under control NOW and try to at least drop to 130 and a size 7 if i could. Well it has been a very slow journey and the weight did not come off fast, i got discouraged many times... upped cals, lowered cals, exercised harder, not at all, etc... but something seemed to click this spring and it seemed to start to come off consistently. I am happy to report that i have dropped 22lbs and am down to a 3-5 even though i still didn't see it....even though the size showed it and the scale showed it. I guess it was the same as when i gained it, i still saw myself as the other person.... BUT i started a new job recently and these people didn't knwo me before when i was bigger and i have heard nice comments about being thin, etc I made me realize that i have lost the weight and i am thin now and i do look good:) so all in all.. NEVER give up, you will see the results you want one day, maybe not the day you want or the time frame you want but you will get there eventually! Keep at it and you will succeed! almost 11 months in the making for me but i finally hit my goal and am happy :)

thanks. i was stuck all the time, couldn't understand why it was so hard! everyone else was soaring by losing weight monthly and there was me losing 1- 1.5 lbs if i was lucky a month... depressing...i never really saw any change either till i hit a 10 lbs loss, then it was like " WOW" glad i am sticking with it, even though it's taking me forever........
