I've done something dramatic...

I have been reading Dr. Fuhrman's Eat To Live book and put everything into consideration and decided to try the way of life he recommends...in my own way of course.
It's a plant based diet...so basically all I'm eating is veggies, fruit, nuts, seeds, beans & some oats...such as oatmeal & only drinking water & almond milk. It's really hard to eat salad w/o any dressing at all & if I do have any it's just a little bit of balsamic vinegar...I have never been on a diet quite like this before...but let me tell you...it works!..of course it works.
I actually recently started this past Thursday so I'm still getting use to it. My head hurts, its pounding... I'm having major cravings and dreams about cheeseburgers & french fries but I'm trying so hard not to give in.
Never would I have thought I'd be switching to a vegan lifestyle to lose weight, but if you've read the book & seen documentaries such as food inc. you'd understand. I'm definitely not giving up my chicken and turkey though, Fuhrman said to give him six weeks following his eating plan & that's what I'm going to do. Then I plan on eating dairy & meat products 2-4 times a month.

Good for you, I've wanted to go vegan for aaages, and I think I will do very, very soon. It's good for you (if you are sensible, and go on sites like this to make sure you get all your nutrients), good for the planet, and good for all the little farm yard animals. I'll bet after six weeks you won't want to go back .0

Make sure you're eating enough calories.0

You're going to have to pay attention to make sure you get enough protein. Good luck!
Personally, I don't think it's necessarily worth it, unless you plan on eating like that forever.0
