I think your money would be better spent on exercise equipment or a low-calorie recipe book.

I'm going to get on the bandwagon here and agree with everyone else. NO. I did every diet pill they have on the market at one time...and even though I would have a suppressed appetite, I was jittery with some of them, or if I wasn't jittery I wasn't hungry thus not getting enough nutrition. I had a ton of energy it seemed with them all...so that was a plus, but again...it also came with headaches and when I came down off the *high* I was exhausted and starving.

Good ole exercise and watching what you eat really is best. I know...sounds so....boring....but in the long run it really is the only thing that is worth it. AND it works.

Before signing up to MFP I lost 86 lbs last year....that was from exercising and watching every little thing I put in my mouth and accounted for it. I'm back at the weight loss thing again because I slacked and didn't think I needed MFP again. WRONG. Love this site....so save your money and log in every day here and get motivated and get the support you need to make great healthy decisions. :):) Good luck to you :flowerforyou:

If it's legal then they don't work. Less legal but effective: Albuterol works as a beta-2 agonist but only in the 16-24mg range per day. Clenbuterol works at a longer half-life and thus easier to OD on, and DNP works as a mitochondrial uncoupler to produce heat instead of ATP, potentially melting you from the inside out.

The reason those are illegal (sans albuterol in asthma doses in mcg) is because their effective dose is so close to their lethal dose. In the end, just eat at your deficit and move your butt, the results will surely follow!

Ive used various different diet pills when i was younger and their not worth the money, the ones that are the best kind are the ephedrine based ones but these are also dangerous so not worth the risk. I had them and had alot of trouble sleeping at night and although i did lose weight it was most probably down to the fact that they supressed my appetite so i didnt really eat proper, which obvs resulted in me gaining back the weight plus abit more.

The way you should think of diet pills is if it was that easy to take a pill and all your weight troubles are over then wed have no obese people in the world. I gave up wasting my money on diet pills and did it the natural way after i had my first daughter and im doing the same again after my 2nd ive gone from 196lbs post pregnancy to my current weight which is now 138lbs just watching what i eat and working out!! I do take Green tea capsules but thats for the antioxidents rather than the weight loss!!
