My work team is going out to a Mexican resturant for lunch today. What healthier options can I choose? I usually get a chicken enchilada and a cheese quesadilla. I know there have to be healthier options than that. One note: I don't like beans.

Any suggustions would be great.

(They don't have nutrition facts online..it is a small famly run place)

Most mexican restaurants have salads, such as a shrimp and avocado salad. This is one of my favorite dishes at the Mexican resturant I go to. Try for something like that and use salsa instead of dressing. Stay away from the chips and anything fried. Also, stay away from flour tortillas. Request corn tortillas if you must have them. Good luck.

Hey! I love Mexican! I try to get the chicken fajitas and I just eat the chicken and veggies on the plate with salsa on it. I will not let myself order cheese dip! I dont know how many calories that is but its gotta be better than getting quesadillas. I also order water and try to drink a huge glass of it before I get my meal. Good luck!
