Lost and need help!

There is so many conflicting info, so many calculations when it comes to how many calories I should be eating.

MFP is giving me a daily of 1510

My TDEE -20% is more around 1800

I am completely lost.

Should I keep it at MFP settings and eat back all my excercise ( would average about 1700 ish a day unless I go hike or something) or set it at 1800 and not eat back my calories.

There's something I just don't understand I guess. Help Needed!!!

Either way would probably work for you. My numbers come out similar as well if I do MFP goal+ exercise or TDEE-20%, but I find it easier to set it at TDEE - 20% so that I don't have to track my exercise burns. I don't have an HRM anyway so it is all estimated. I log the exercise at 1 calorie just to have a record that I did exercise. I target the same amount of calories every day and don't have to think about it.
