You can create your own recipes by going to Food>Recipes>Enter New Recipe.

There you can add in all the ingredients and number of servings. It will calculate the calories out per serving for you.

Then, to enter it into your diary, the far left tab will have all of your own recipes in it :)
  • Here's what I do. I just go into my recipe and add a new one. At the top it will ask you for the servings and just put that in. Then add each ingredient and the amount your recipe asks for. Do this for each additional ingredient. Then, you add it to your diary, it will show the calories and everything for how ever many servings that you put in the box. Dont worry, if you mess up, just go back into your recipes and make changes. Its really that simple. Hope this helps.

If I cook that recipe, I weigth all the separate ingredients and I use the Recipes option here on MFP.
I also weight the whole meal after I finish, so I can get my servings more aquarate (not just, „lets split this meal in 4”). When I serve myself a portion I weight it again and compare it to the whole meal to determine the seving.

If you donțt cook that recipe is more difficult... you can approximate all the ingredients or use similar recipies from the MFP food database.

i either just log each ingredients under my own recipes and put how many servings if i make it, or i will find something that seems close in the food database already. i prefer to log my own though that way i can get it as close as possible. go under food and there is a tab for recipes to add your own
