This guy and his mate buzzed the stadium at my son's football game today. They hung around for a while to pose for some great pics. Believe it or not, my son plays for the Eagles.

    Cool. They love to catch thermals in the afternoon....the kind that come off a warm field and get deflected up the steps. Really beautiful.

    That is an awesome picture! I just saw my first bald eagle last weekend when we were at the lake (in NC). I was thrilled to have finally seen one. He swooped down and grabbed a fish and then left.

    You're welcome! They are also my favorite. I used to monitor bald eagle nests for our Division of Wildlife in the earlier years of the restoration program. They are fascinating creatures that mate for life. They'll return to the same nest year after year.
