So according to the NRLFW my protein levels are too low to gain muscle mass which is what I will be eventually aiming to do. I am vegetarian and eat protein at every meal.
So is powder the way to go? and if so rec me a NICE one thats available in the UK, i can't afford to experiment..

Only Whey - is what i use as recommended by a weightloss therapist. It's flavorless so a great base for smoothies - i always freeze fruit or whizz in some ice cubes as when not cold it's pretty nasty. Freeze banana chunks when they are starting to go off. Tho now i'm going to start taking it to the gym so will have to endure it lukewarm in order to have some within half an hour of exercise and so i don't come home and inhale anything edible in sight!

I use this. Choc smooth is seriously yummy!! I have tried strawberry and vanilla and loved both of those. I also have a pack of the unflavoured protein to add to smoothies where I don't want any flavour added. They all mix really well whether in a blender or just the shaker you can get from them.
Seems to be the best priced from when I've searched.0 -
IDK about the UK. But a nice egg white protein without cholesterol. Tastes great in smoothies. whey protein is good too. Get different flavors because one can become boring or you can get sick of it quickly
its been 2 years since I've had chocolate protein powder because I got very very sick of it and now I cant STAND the taste.0 -
Try GNLD...it is marketed all over the world.....not in stores...you can find a distributer website in your area by going to GNLD uk...there are several websites...if you becaome a distributer, you can get discounts...(I am a distributer....you can just order for yourself like I do, or actually make a business out of it) the product is called GR2-Control...comes in vanilla and chocolate..if you like it, order by the case...you will receive 6 cans for the price of 5....I have been using it once a day, although it is suggested to use twice a day, and I have lost 30 lbs so far since I started 2 years ago...granted it's slow but my doctor is very imprssed with how I'm doing
I know you will like it....0 -

Plenty of good cheap bulk UK suppliers for you to look through and make your choice from.
I personally WOULD NOT use Myprotein because as long as the order goes fine (70% of the time) but should you have a problem expect days/weeks of remedying the prob. Lots of bad feedback on lots of forums - IMO avoid.0 -
