Can you have too much fiber and end up making gastrointestinal symptoms worse?

Also how do grain free people eat enough fiber ?

If you eat lots of fibre you need to make sure you drink enough water or it will certainly make stomach symptoms worse. Fruit and vegetables contain lots of fibre too.

I found that until your body gets used to enough fiber stomach problems will be worse.

Eat more fruit, especially apples and oranges.

It is best to up your fiber gradually and, as KatyE213 said, make sure you drink enough water or you will just make things worse.

im thinking about adding hemp protein to my diet and im scared ill become dependant on it to have a motion as it has so much fiber i understand you can become dependant on some fiber supplements

I would personally stick to natural fiber from food. Fruit/veg, wholegrains and beans are all good sources or fibre. I discovered a great bread from Hovis it is a wholemeal one with 7 seeds (it is in my food diary if you want to have a look). It has 5.5g of fiber per slice and not too high in cals either. A couple of slices of that with some beans and you have covered most of your fiber requirements for the day. Good luck

This is the easiest thing to do.... fresh vegetables, the occasional berries.

get your fibre naturally from food rather than out of bottle
