Low-carb, low-cal foodstuffs

Hey everyone. My name is Jen and I am incredibly passionate about cooking, though am not a professional by any means. I have been on a diet for a few months with great success, during which I have learned and mastered many recipes. I am beginning to pool these recipes in one location (previously I would send recipes to friends). My hopes are that I will be able to have a large database of recipes for people who are following low-carb and/or low-cal diets. Currently there are only 3 recipes up, but I have 10 draft posts waiting to be published.

The blog is www.ketoeats.blogspot.ca and I would love for anyone to go take a look at what's already been posted. But more importantly, I would like to continue to expand the recipes on my blog so that other users will have much to choose from. If you have any recipes that you are apprehensive to try yourself, or that you'd like converted into a low-carb recipe, please let me know!

xo,
Jen

I'll take a look. Keto does well for shedding weight but anything longer then 4-6 weeks can be detrimental to overall health unless you cycle carbs correctly (lesson learned the hard way) but I'm in for some recipes!

I have had no issues with keto thus far but I certainly don't mean to push that particular diet on anyone! It's just what my BF and I are doing, and many of my support group, so that's why the blog is called "keto eats". The foodstuffs are good for more than keto, though. If you're following a general low-carb diet (not as low-carb as keto even), the recipes are good choices too.

Oh yea and I check in with my doctor every month just in case :)
