Encouragment needed

I didn't loose anything this week - damn!!!! Please don't say "you didn't gain either"!!! It is so frustrating when you measure and weigh EVERYTHING you eat and NO results especially on the 2nd week!!!!!! I guess I will have to start exercising hmmmm that means I'll have to get up at 4:30am to do that!!!!! I REALLY NEED some encourraging words right now....Thanks

    You can do it. You know what you need to do, so just get on with it. Next week you could lose this week's weight as well so it's worth the effort!

    It's what you're eating. You are eating way too many carbs. And, as a borderline diabetic, you have to stay away from that as it spikes your blood sugar. A great book to read is called, "The Schwarzbein Principle". This is a doctor who specialized in working with Diabetics. NO SUGAR. NO BREADS, PASTAS, GRAINS, and watch the fruit. Here's an example of a better breakfast (I viewed your breakfast this morning):

    2-3 egg omelet w/ sautéed vegetables such as onion, roma tomato, mushrooms & spinach
    1/2-1 sweet potato shredded and cooked in a pat of butter (think: sweet potato hash browns)

    Not necessarily "words of encouragement", but advice to get you to your goals.

    Think "whole foods" - protein, vegetables, nuts, fruit, good fats.
