entering exercise goals

When you enter your exercise goals, should they include strength training and cardio or just cadio?
I'm new so thanks for your help.

  • I enter all exercise above my normal daily routine, including strength training. Some people on here have said that strength training doesn't increase your heart rate enough to burn calories, but my heart rate monitor would disagree with that.
