If you want VICTORY...you've got to go find it!

Im totally lazy when it comes to social media...so I amost didnt make this post, but I decided to be unselfish and share my experience today with someone in hopes that I can help at least one person.

I just recently had been a little down to noticing that I had lost over 20 lbs with no clear sign of victory. I still look the same to me. I still fit my fat jeans (just a little looser), my belly still hangs and Im still fat etc etc. Well, in hopes of finding some form of motivation....I decided to do a "Closet Challenge." I went through all of my old jeans of varying sizes to see if I could fit into any of them. To my much needed surprise, almost all of them fit. Some a little too tight and some just right. I have been wearing a very tight 12 (stretch jeans), but I tried on as small as 7/8's up to 11's. What this made me realize is

1. I wear my jeans pretty tight...period (Do you? Might be why you dont see a difference)
2. Just because I can still fit my fat jeans doesnt mean I cant fit some skinny ones too
3. Stretch jeans can be deceiving (You can literally be 4 different sizes)
4. All brands are not made equal

Now, I know I probably still cant squeeze into my smaller jackets/tops because I have big arms and carry alot of weight there, but my "Closet Challenge" gives me hope that I will be able to someday. Ultimately, I would like to not fit my fat jeans at all...and my skinny jeans could afford to be a little less tight. I would like to encourage you all to do a "Closet Challenge" and find something you know you looked like Donkey Kong in and see if its fits you a little better. Its a reat motivator for those like me who are too lazy to do measurements and dont notice a big change after weight loss.

Also, dont be so hard on yourself and dont be so unrealistic. It took time to pack on those lumps and bumps...they probably will be the last things to go. After my body is done eating off the rest of my fat, I believe I will start to see a difference in those areas that have a little more.

Fake it til you make it. If you have lost a lot of weight and still have a little "Mommy Tummy" left over...Buy some damn spanks and work it! The chicks around town wont know youre dirty little secret as they are secretly envying your legs/breasts/butt etc. Then when you get there, toss that thing aside like you never had it.

Bottom line: Dont let it get you down, dont give up, dont be unrealistic. You will get there if you just take it one day at a time. Dont be a wimp, let yourself suffer for what youve done to your body...and you will see that suffering brings new life. Be willing to work hard for it if you want it and accept the fact that...It will never be easy.

After blood, sweat and tears...victory tastes so sweet. Without those, victory is not really a victory at all.

HA HA, Donkey Kong. When I lost several pounds my pants hit like a hip hopper. Who knew Goodwill had so many decent things.
