So I woke up with a wicked sour throat and stomach cramps ... and cough, etc. So I feel like crap and NOTHING sounds good. I'm basically don't with my food diary today minus the afternoon snack and I still have over 500 calories left! Is that going to be a big deal for one day? I know not meeting your goal regularly can have a big impact on your success since your body won't have enough energy to burn fat, etc. Just wanted to figure out if I should force feed myself, or not worry about it?

I think that for one day you'll be fine. I cannot eat when I feel sick or have a sore throat. Although...you might want to try a milkshake.

Also, I miss the 150 best foods list

Uhhh I've been sick too... its 1:30 and I've only had 300 calories... I think its ok once and awhile when your sick, I'm going to try to get to at least 1000.

  • I was sick for about a week, and there were 2-3 days there where I could only eat about 500 calories. Then there were some days where I went over by 500 or so calories b/c the only thing available was junk food (since everyone in my house was suffering from the flu, no one was willing to cook, we had McDonalds or pizza delivered). I lost 5 pounds that week, but have gained 2 or 3 back. Therefore, I don't think it's going to set you back to ignore your dieting rules while you are sick.

yeah, one or two days won't break ya lady, especially if you get to within 500 calories, you're metabolism's probably not thinking too hard about calorie totals anyway with all the virus killing going on. Do the best you can, recover, and then get back too it.

    get well soon!
