Net calories

So I have been working out for over a year and have lost 40 lbs. This passed several weeks I have been reinvigorated and came across this site. I have been working out five days a week and counting calories. The last several days I have finished in the green. This means I have still had calories at the end of the day. I then came across the net portion of this site. I am wondering what I am supposed to be doing with this? is it more important to work out burning 750-1000 calories a day or focus on net? Any help that you can give would be great.

i also havea question about net calories. should your NET calories be at least 1,200 a day or is it just that you need to EAT 1,200 a day0

I never saw that before until I went to my home and it was a weird number, so I am not sure?0

Net atleast 1200 calories a day. This site is set up to give you a deficit before you work out which is why it instructs you to eat back your exercise calories.0
