I went to the gym to run my C25K Week 3 day 2 run after taking a 3 day rest due to pain in my legs. I did okay and finished it. But for some reason I think I have shin splints… It hurts soooo bad and it gets to the point when I’m running that I can’t move my ankle certain ways. I feel that endurance wise I’m ok with the running; it’s the unbearable pain in my calves that cause me to slow down. And I’m not totally sure it’s shin splints either. I had a stress fracture in one of my shins like 4 years ago and the pain in BOTH of my legs feel just like that. It hurts to stand for a while, it hurts to move it certain ways, and it definitely hurts in my shins to squat down.

The pain is in both of my inner legs about 2 inches above my ankle to about halfway between my ankle and knee.

Maybe i need to get it checked out… Have any of ever had this pain before?

I'd get it checked out - better safe than sorry as they say! Plus I don't think it is in the right place for shin splints...
