8 week challenge!!

Hi everyone, im going on holiday the 1st week in december, i want to try and get down to at least 126lb for then, im 5''4, right now i weigh 141lb, i weighed 146lb a couple of weeks ago so iv already lost 5lb, need to lose another 15lb, does any one want to do this challenege with me, give me motivation??

Good luck with your challenge. I am more at a maintenance weight now so not sure what challenge I can do but could try to motivate or give you any help or advice along the way maybe.0

yea that would be great thanks very much, i always lose around 8lb and then get bored and either maintain that for several months and then put a bit back on, iv yoyo'd between 9 stone 3 and 10 stone 6 for 3 years only recently getting to the higher end, i want to try and stick to it this time i think encouragement and people doing it along with me will keep me going0

Im thinking once a week weight in, monday maybe? every one let me know your weight loss aim aswell if you want and if any one has any useful tips etc. iv been drinking a lot of green tea, seems to keep away mid morning hunger etc. and taking acai berry capsules, they have made my digestive system a millions times better which is always going to help and 5lb weight loss in just under 2 weeks isnt bad at all0 -

Im easy for any day to do a weight in, what day would you prefer, i was thinking about have a 'bad day' on a sunday also so maybe monday isnt they best idea iv also taken 'before pictures' last week if any one is up for posting before and after pictures at the end0 -

Monday is a perfect day for weigh-in as it keeps you focused over the weekend, just my opinion. I'm happy to join in, I want to be about 175 by christmas.0

i weighed myself on a sunday this week (being some where that had a scale) so i do want to keep it not far from my original weigh day, do you mind me asking the weight loss total would be to then, mine is 15lb i do want to lose a few more but im being realistic0 -

That would be 20lbs, in 6weeks I've managed just over 2stone. So it is realistically possible but it seems to be starting to slow up now. I don't mind you asking, after all we're all after the same conclusion - a healthier body.0 -

I'm currently 219 and would aim to be 205.
So does this mean that we are now offically in week 1?

Thank you, well I cycle about 16mile a day to work so i've upped the intensity on that a bit, had a fair bit to lose but basically i've cut out everything high fat and calories. My diary isn't good in terms of nutrition and most would say I'm not eating enough but if I'm not hungry I don't eat. I'm on about 8glasses of water, out the house by about 5.45am and back about 7.45pm so by that time I don't really want a heavy meal.
My life is water, fruit, light meal where possible and a fair bit of exercise.
You're doing well though, as you don't have so much to lose but have lost it quick as well0 -

Thanks yea im just trying to eat when im hungry rather than when the clock says its breakfast dinner and tea time, and i used to just eat for the sake of eating when i wasnt hungry, when i stopped that i found im not really hungry often, but im trying to make sure i eat at least the 1000 so i can keep losing weight, even if im not hungry0 -

My set up is to weigh on a Thursday morning in just my undies after the toilet (just a wee wee lol) but that way you always get an accurate reading to follow. This works best for me because usually the weekend is an enjoyment time and people tend to stray a bit so at least by Thursday your body should be back to normal after good eating and training since the Monday etc. I would be happy to have a challenge I guess as it may get me focused again as I seem to have lost a bit of mojo from hitting a good weight.
I will start officially on Thursday after my weigh in and will also take a picture and do measurements etc ( because it isn't just weight remember, but how your clothes fit etc. I have a party on Saturday night so that will be a tough one and I guess I don't have a set weight in mind but want to see where I get to in 8 weeks time. I will post my details on Thursday as I think it gives you more motivation knowing people have seen your pic and measurements etc.0 -

I would like to join! I would like to lose 16 pounds in 8 weeks- I am currently 220 so that would put me at 204.. I like the idea of doing a 'before' picture and then another in 4 weeks and then another picture at the end... I have never done a group weigh in before so this should be a fun way to stay motivated0
