calories..

Just wondering I noticed that after I entered my exercise it took the calories I lost and added them to the daily intake. Am I supposed to just comsume the 1200 or am I supposed to eat the calories I lost too? Doesnt make since to me why they would add them back on.

Unlike other weight-loss plans, MFP does not include exercise in your calculated activity level, so yes, eat them back, or at least a good proportion - even the best methods of calculation are only 75% accurate so you may want to leave a margin of error.

Find out what your BMR is in the tools section - this is the calorie level your body NEEDS everyday just to function so you need to eat at least this amount and then if you exercise you should eat back some of these calories if you are hungry.

For example, I am sedentary (sit at desk all day) and my BMR is 1392. My goal is set to 1400 calories. If I workout I usually eat back at least half of these calories as well and I am losing weight.

You can eat your excercise calories and still lose weight as long as you are true to yourself, your food intake isnt massively sugary or filled with sodium etc. I only eat my exercise calories when i dont feel like ive eat enough in the day or if im going out for a meal with friends/family. Most of the time I bank them for a bigger loss :)
