WOW! Progress (Oct '11 - Oct '12) and MAJOR NSV!!

Hello everyone!
I had an AWESOME NSV this weekend and just had to share. I am a Country Line Dancer. In my younger days, about 8 yrs ago, for a few years, my friends and I would be out EVERY weekend Line dancing! We had a place near us that we LOVED and got to know MANY of the people there and became good friends with a LOT of them. Over the years, with LIFE changing, "Our Place" closing, moving to another "place" then that closing and eventually, after a few different places, ending up BACK at our original "Place." I am now married and have a child so, going out every weekend is NOT possible. But, we go out when we can. There are many of the "older" ladies and gents that still go out and get their DANCE ON and, it feels nice when we DO go out to still be able to hug everyone and talk with them. Many things have changed with dances over the years but, it is still great to get out.
A favorite band of ours was playing this past Saturday so, we decided to go out and listen to them. Now, I had bought new jeans in January and my husband LOVED how they "fit" on me, size 16. I have since lost some weight and they dont fit as they did when I got them. I started my new "Workout" in August and am at week 7 of 16 of the program. My husband was joking with me that he didnt want to take me out becuase my jeans didnt "fit" right for Country Dancing. SOOOO...we decided to go try and find a pair (Mind you, I am 6'2" with a 36" inseam so finding jeans off the shelf is usually a NO!). The Western Store near us carries 36" inseam jeans for riders and such so we went looking and I FOUND A PAIR!!! And, the size..........13/14!!!! OMG, I HAVENT BOUGHT A PAIR OF JEANS THIS SMALL SINCE HIGH SCHOOL (15 yrs ago at LEAST). OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!!!! I could NOT believe they fit!!!!!!
Additional NSV - when we went out, EVERYONE kept telling me how GREAT I looked and how HAPPY I looked. I couldnt get enough of it!! I felt WONDERFUL!! AND, MOST of those people did NOT know I had been working at getting Healthy!! I could have NOT been happier with the comments and how I felt on Saturday Night!!!! If this is how it felt NOW, and I still have at LEAST ~30 lbs to go, I cant WAIT to see how GREAT I feel then!!!!

AND, I am NOT a person who thrives on attention and usually like to stay in the background, EXCEPT for when i dance. SOOOO, it was nice to know people were looking at me for me and my dancing and not just my dancing! !:-)0 -

If we didnt go out on Saturday, he probably wouldnt have bought them...lol...YET!! :-) He wants me to wait too so I am not buying too many clothes and then needing to replace them...AGAIN! LOL!!!0 -
